Torch blast injures four

KOHAT, July 2: Three children and a woman were injured when an explosive material filled in a torch went off in the hands of children in a house in Hangu on Saturday, police said.

They said that according to initial reports, an unknown person gave a torch to children in Saidano Banda on bypass road. They said that the explosive material went off when they were playing with the torch in their house. As a result of the blast, Ms Lal Jana and the children, including Zeeshan Ali, Fanoos Ali and Nazia Jana, were injured.

They were taken to a local hospital while the Hangu police had registered the case against unknown terrorists.

SEARCH OPERATION: The security forces arrested two suspicious tribesmen during search operation in Akhorwal and Zarghunkhel areas of Darra Adamkhel on Saturday.
