THE PAF Museum in Karachi at Sharea Faisal has been a source of entertainment. People not only enjoy the serene environment of the park, but the museum also provides information to the public about the rich history and achievements of our air force. It provides motivation to our youth to join the air force.
The museum, however, has lately been closed after the May 22 terror attack at the adjacent Mehran naval air base. But the closure of the museum is a great disappointment for the public, especially children who cannot visit it despite having a two-month summer vacation.
I, on behalf of Karachiites, request the authorities concerned to take steps for reopening the museum as soon as possible for the benefit of the entertainment-starved people.
