PARACHINAR, June 23: A 132KV power pylon was blown up by unidentified saboteurs disrupting power supply to Parachinar and parts of Upper Kurram tribal region on Wednesday.

Sources said that suspected militants had planted the explosives which went off with a bang.

As a result, the tower was completely destroyed.

Most of the town plunged into darkness after the blast.
