TOBA TEK SINGH, June 23: Intelligence officials arrested a Naib Qasid of the District Police Officer’s Office on Thursday for his alleged links with a banned religious outfit.

Kashif was taken to an unknown place for investigation immediately after his arrest.

City police official Nisar Ahmad said he was unaware of any arrest, but a DPO Office source confirmed the arrest without giving detail of charges against Kashif. — Correspondent
