Three fall prey to revenge

SUKKUR, June 9: Three people were killed and four suffered injuries in a clash between two groups of Mashori community over an old karo-kari dispute in Shahi Pull area near Bakhshapur on Thursday.

Ghulam Sarwar Mashori, Shoukat Mashori and Mengal Mashori died on the spot and Yar Muhammad, Dilshad, Dad Muhammad and an unidentified woman were injured when the groups exchanged fire.

Bakhshapur police took the bodies to a Kashmore hospital.

The triple murder had created panic and harassment in the area as both groups have taken positions against each other in trenches dug up outside their villages. DROWNED:

Two minor brothers drowned in Badani Shakh in Meeral Sangi village while taking bath in the canal on Thursday.

Majid, 7, and Sharjeel, 5, sons of Piral Sangi drowned when they slipped into deep waters. The bodies were later fished out.
