KARACHI, June 1: A senior staff member of Dawn was robbed of his cellphone near Nagan Chowrangi on Wednesday.

Rafique Jalal, Dawn’s edition in-charge, was waiting for a bus at the Adam Town bus stop in the evening when two men on a motorbike stopped close to him.

One of them pulled out a pistol and snatched Mr Jalal’s cellphone before they sped away.
