SUKKUR, May 29: A young woman was termed 'kari' and axed in Golimar area of Kandhkot on Sunday.

Ali Mardan Arbani, who suspected his brother's wife of having illicit relations with a neighbur, allegedly attacked her with a hatchet, killing her on the spot.

The accused is reported to be absconding. —Correspondent
