Two cousins, girl shot dead in Kohat

KOHAT, May 27: Two cousins and a girl were killed in two incidents here on Friday.

In the first incident, two cousins, Waleed and Mohammad Aman, were shot dead by their rivals in the Togh Bala area over an old enmity.

In the second incident, a man, Mohammad Asif, allegedly killed his sister Shakeela Naz, 18, after exchanging hot words with her over a domestic dispute in Merozai area. The police arrested the accused on the complaint of his father, Yousaf Khan. The Riaz Khan Shaheed police registered cases against the accused who managed to escape from the scene.

ARRESTED:

The police arrested six persons involved in snatching an oil tanker from two persons in Lakki Marwat and recovered the stolen petrol and the tanker on Friday.

The oil tanker was bringing a consignment of PSO contractor Mohammad Akram for delivery to the petrol pumps in Taro Jabba in Peshawar from Mahmood Kot area of Muzaf-fargarh.—Correspondent
