CHAKWAL, May 17: A man here on Tuesday was sentenced to 15 years imprisonment for abducting and raping a girl.

Qasim Mehmood, of Budhiyal village, was convicted of kidnapping and raping the girl in October 2009.

Additional District and Sessions Judge Sohail Akram while sentencing the man acquitted co-accused Mohammad Sadiq, Amir Nadeem, Khadija Begum and Zubaida Begum. —Correspondent
