PESHAWAR, May 16: Police claimed on Monday to have seized arms and ammunitions and arrested the accused.

A police spokesman said weapons had been recovered during a raid at a godown in limits of Paharipura police station.

The seized weapons include 70 repeaters, 70 rifles and 150 chargers. The accused identified as Said Jalal of Afghanistan was arrested on the spot.

The weapons had been dumped in a goods godown.
