KARACHI, May 6: The body of a young man bearing torture marks was found in a garbage dump in Lyari.

Investigators said the victim, identified as Mohammad Qasim in his late 20s, was found shot dead in a garbage dump in a Kalakot area.

“He was a resident of Nayaabad area and was seen with friends till late Thursday night,” said SP Javed Baloch of Lyari Town.

“He used to supply tobacco products to different shops in the area and also had some transport business.

“We believe that he was kidnapped while returning home in the early hours of Friday but the killers and their motive have yet to be determined.
