Three foreigners arrested in Narian

ABBOTTABAD: Three foreigners — two from Sudan and one from Egypt — were picked up by intelligence personnel in a raid on a house in Narian area on Thursday morning.

Police said they had no information about the raid.

Meanwhile, following the release of the pictures of Arshad and Tariq, two residents of the compound where Osama bin Laden was killed, local people said they had seen both of them and they lived there. They said the men had returned to Pakistan after working in Kuwait for some time.

Sources said the US commandos who had raided the Osama compound had left the bodies of Arshad and Tariq at the place. The two lived in the compound with their families.

The place remained crowded with local and foreign journalists for the fourth day. They were hoping to get an opportunity to enter the compound because of rumours that the building might be demolished after a detailed inspection by senior officers of the MI and ISI. They were also expecting a detailed briefing at the place on the US commandos' operation.
