KARACHI, April 27: A special court for the Control of Narcotic Substances on Wednesday acquitted a man in a case for lack of case property and documentary evidence.

Faraghuddin was held for keeping one kilogram of hashish in September 2005 within the remit of the Saeedabad police station.

Inspector Deedar Ali Mirani of the excise police had investigated the case.—Staff Reporter
