ISLAMABAD, Oct 16: The government will issue a detailed statement as a reaction to the reports of India’s partial withdrawal of its troops from the borders on Thursday.

“We have heard on television about the withdrawal of Indian troops and we are collecting necessary details to give our reaction tomorrow,” said foreign office spokesman Aziz Ahmad Khan.

He told Dawn on Wednesday that it was difficult for him to make an instant comment on the subject.
