PESHAWAR, March 27: A dacoit was killed and another was injured in a police encounter on Sunday in the limits of Chamkani police station.Police also arrested one of the dacoits. According to police, the dacoits had come from Rawalpindi to loot traders in the main fruit market located on the GT Road.

The slain dacoit was identified as Maisal Khan, resident of Karak.

The injured was identified as Hasan Ali of Sheikhapura while Shamraiz Qaiser was arrested.

Police said all three dacoits were wanted by Rawalpindi police in various crimes. — Bureau Report
