Jewellery, cash looted

RAWALPINDI, March 22: Four gunmen barged into a house in Gulraiz colony on Tuesday and took away a large quantity of gold jewellery and cash after taking the inmates of the house at gunpoint, the victim and police said.

Amir Bashir, the robbery victim narrating his family's ordeal said all male members were at their jobs when the robbers entered the house.

He said all of the culprits were wearing trousers and carrying guns in their hands. Amir who is associated with a private company said the robbers took away three families jewellery weighing about 100 tolas, and Rs60,000 in cash.

In a similar incident, four robbers forcibly entered a house in Chaklala Scheme III on Tuesday and looted away gold ornaments weighing 40 tolas and Rs500,000 after taking the inmates at gunpoint.
