Driver killed, 4 Nato tankers torched

QUETTA, March 16: A man was killed and four tankers carrying fuel supplies for Nato forces in Afghanistan were torched by armed men in Mastung area, about 50km from here, on Wednesday.

According to sources, eight gunmen on motorcycles opened fire on four Chaman-bound Nato oil tankers in Ganjidoori area of Mastung, killing driver Zakir.

They later torched the tankers on the main Quetta-Karachi Highway and fled from the scene.
