SHIKARPUR, March 16: A 10-year-old boy was assaulted and killed in the village of Long Detho in Garhiyasin on Wednesday.The victim was identified as Shoaib, son of Abdul Jabbar Detho of Shikarpur.

Some people took him away, assaulted, cut his throat and threw his body in wheat crop near the village.

The boy had come to participated in a marriage ceremony with his parents.
