LAHORE, Feb 18: A Senior civil judge on Friday summoned Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) Additional Director Zafar Ahmed Qureshi on March 12 in a defamation case filed by PML-Q MNA Wajahat Husain.

Husain alleged that Qureshi had deliberately implicated Moonis Elahi in the NICL scam and fed the media with false information about declaring him a proclaimed offender. He said Qureshi's action had not only damaged the reputation of Moonis but also of the PML-Q. Staff Reporter

On Friday, another legal notice was served on Qureshi by At-Tahur (Pvt) Ltd for having an unauthorised raid at its office in Garden Town. —Staff Reporter
