QUETTA, Feb 4: Two employees of the Oil and Gas Development Company (OGDC) were killed and three others injured in an armed attack at Sohbatpur in Jaffarabad district on Friday.

The OGDC workers were going to the Uch gas field from Dera Allahyar in a vehicle when assailants opened fire at their vehicle near Dirgi village, police official Jan Mohammad Khosa said.

One employee, Mohammad Anwar, was killed and four were injured, he said, adding that they were taken to the Dera Allahyar civil hospital where another worker, Raban, died.—Staff Correspondent
