HYDERABAD, Feb 3: Allama Altaf Al Hussaini, a leader of the Shia Ulema Council, was seriously injured in an armed attack late on Thursday night, police said.

Mr Hussain was returning to Kotri from Hyderabad and was on the Kotri bridge when gunmen opened fire at him, police said, adding that he was taken to civil hospital in critical condition.
