LAHORE, Jan 22: Shahdara police claimed on Saturday to have arrested three members of a gang involved in street crime and house robberies and recovered looted goods and illegal weapons from their possession.

According to a press release, a police team led by Shahdara station house officer (SHO) Sharif Sindhu arrested Naeem Shahzad alias Shurli and his two accomplices, Akmal Shahzad and Arshad.

The police recovered two stolen motorcycles, 10 cell phones, cash and other valuables from them.

The arrested dacoits confessed to 27 incidents of crime against property committed in different parts of the city.

DIG Operations Rao Sardar Ali Khan has announced cash prize and commendatory certificates for the raiding party.
