Minor girl critical after rape
UMERKOT, Jan 13: A minor girl is reportedly in critical condition after being raped two days ago.
The incident happened near Dhoronaro town.A resident of village Haji Khan Mohammad Mangrio got an FIR registered at the Dhoronaro police station, accusing one Raichand Kohli of raping his eight-year-old daughter.
He stated that his minor daughter went to a neighbour's house to watch television but on way back was abducted by the nominated man who took her to the jungle and raped her.
The girl remained missing for a whole day and night and was found on Wednesday in unconscious condition from bushes near the village, he stated.
A lady doctor at the district headquarters hospital of Umerkot confirmed the incident after conducting medico legal examination of the girl.
Later, the girl was referred to a Mirpurkhas hospital in critical condition.
Human rights organisations have demanded exemplary punishment to the accused.
