CHAKWAL, Jan 12: Additional District and Sessions Judge Nisar Baig on Wednesday awarded life term to a man and acquitted his father giving him the benefit of the doubt.

The convict Karam Haider, a resident of Moreed village, had killed Tajamal Hussain for damaging his crops. The court also imposed a fine of Rs100,000 on Karam Haider.—Correspondent
