Warden held

LAHORE, Jan 9: A traffic warden was suspended from service after being arrested and booked in a bribery case here on Sunday. Staff Reporter

Nayyar Rafiq submitted an application to Chief Traffic Officer Syed Ahmad Mobeen a few days back, alleging warden Asif had been receiving bribe from his truck drivers for several months. A formal inquiry found Asif guilty of charges and the Shahdara DSP caught Asif receiving Rs2,300 bribe. —
