Four injured in Charsadda blast

CHARSADDA, Jan 7: Four people, two policemen among them, were wounded in a bomb explosion at a market in Umerzai area of Charsadda on Friday, police said. One critically wounded person was shifted to Peshawar.

The bomb was planted in Dozekh Market housing CD shops near Charsadda Town. Police were informed about the bomb in the market. The bomb disposal squad was on its way to defuse the explosive device when it exploded with a big bang. Police said that shopkeepers had already been evacuated from the market. — Correspondent?
