KARACHI, Dec 31: A partial solar eclipse will occur on Jan 4, Suparco (Pakistan Space and Upper Atmosphere Research Commission) announced on Friday.

The eclipse will be visible in Pakistan with 13 per cent obscuration of the solar disk, a Suparco official said.

Experts have warned enthusiasts not to look at the sun without wearing proper equipment.—APP
