TANK, Dec 30: A contractor of Frontier Works Organisation and his two associates were kidnapped from their makeshift camp near Sharbati Korona here on Thursday.

Local people said that FWO contractor Khaliq Dad Kakar and his two associates, Farooq and Nazir, were present at the organistation's makeshift camp on Jandola Road when armed men whisked them away at gunpoint and shifted the three to some undisclosed location.

It may be mentioned that FWO is constructing a highway to Wazirsitan region to link it with the rest of country.

When contacted, the district and FR Tank administrations remained tight-lipped to confirm or deny the report.
