KARACHI: Pakistan Air Force (PAF), Karachi Electric Supply Company (KESC) and Navy won their respective Pakistan Premier Football League (PPFL) matches here on Saturday.

The PAF edged past Karachi Port Trust (KPT) 1-0 at the KPT-Benazir Sports Complex. The winning goal was scored by Mohammad Zeeshan in the 22nd minute.

The KESC-Pak Elektron Limited (PEL) encounter at the Peoples Sports Complex saw the former beating the latter 3-0. The goals for the winners were scored by Abdul Rehman (first and 55th mins) and Abdul Ghafoor (22nd min).

Meanwhile, at the Korangi Baloch Stadium, Navy beat Pakistan International Airlines (PIA) 3-2. Naveed Ahmed (17th and 71st mins) and Mohammad Basharat (14th min) scored for Navy while Nazeer Ahmed (35th min) and Zeeshan Ali (86th min) reduced the margin for PIA.

Sunday’s fixtures: HBL v Army at Peoples Sports Complex, Karachi; NBP v KRL at Korangi Baloch Stadium, Karachi; SSGC v Wapda at KPT-Benazir Sports Complex, Karachi. Matches kick off at 2.30pm.
