LADHA, Nov 24: One soldier was killed and another injured in a roadside blast in Tirzah area of South Waziristan tribal region on Wednesday.

The security personnel were on routine patrolling when the improvised explosive device, planted by suspected militants, went off. As a result a soldier, Zarwali Khan, was killed on the spot while Jawad Yousafzai was injured.
