39 arrested

LAHORE, Nov 15: As many as 39 traders were got arrested by special magistrates of the CDGL on Monday for selling sugar at more than the price fixed by the government.

A fine of Rs263,000 was imposed on profiteers while sugar was available at Rs72 per kg at 90 per cent retail shops, the special magistrates informed the DCO at a meeting.—Staff Reporter
