KU`s hostel problem

KARACHI University is one of the biggest universities in Pakistan but its students face problems relating to transportation, dearth of classrooms, furniture and many more.

Overseas students pay tuition fees plus the rent of the houses they reside in.

Many students who come from other cities do not get enrolled in hostels. In the university's hostels it is those students who have political affiliations who get to live.

The administration seems to work under pressure while poor students do not get accommodation in these hostels.

The hostels seem to have been converted into guest houses where deserving students have no chance to live in.

The Sindh government should take all possible steps to solve this problem and improve the situation.
