LAHORE, Oct 28: Chief Traffic Officer Syed Ahmad Mobeen has directed the wardens to launch an awareness campaign among the motorists from Friday (today) to discourage use of pressure horns and hooters.

In the first phase of the campaign, says a press release, the wardens will educate the citizens about the ban on pressure horns while challan receipts will be issued to violators from Monday.

The CTO said the city government had declared some roads in the provincial capital silence zones and the motorists must observe regulations. He also advised the citizens to cooperate with the wardens.
