In the loop: Symt prays for the nation

Hai Woh Allah is a prayer for Pakistan that Symt has recently released. It was “recorded live in one go” and although it’s a soft number, it contains the energy associated with the band’s music

As a band, Symt has everything going for it to become the next big thing in Pakistan. Their music is catchy with a video for their debut song Zamana already doing the rounds on the mainstream media and the internet. They have already worked on three more music videos that will be released very soon.

The band made their debut in the Lahore underground scene some time last year as winners of a local music competition. Their original number, Pyaar di Ganderi is already considered to be a cult hit. Their producer, Farhad Humayun of the percussion-based band Overload, also plays for the band itself.

Hai Woh Allah is a prayer for Pakistan that Symt has recently released. It was “recorded live in one go” and although it’s a soft number, it contains the energy associated with the band’s music. The lead singer and songwriter for the band is Haroon Shahid. He sings with Adam Levine-sounding vocals (from Maroon5) in a heartfelt manner. Although the song is incredibly short, it definitely is a number that deserves to be put on playback.
