Court wants Pishin walls cleared of graffiti

QUETTA, Aug 10 A division bench of the Balochistan High Court directed the town municipal officer of Pishin on Tuesday to remove graffiti from walls and rubbish strewn along roads in the town.

The court had taken suo motu notice of the state of affairs obtaining in the town.

The bench comprising Chief Justice Qazi Faez Issa and Justice Mohammad Noor Meskanzai directed the officer to submit a comprehensive report about some complaints it had received.

Advocate Syed Imdad Shah submitted an 11-page report, having pictures showing filthy roads and wall chalking.

The court said if graffiti was not removed action would be taken against officials.
