Bomb defused

SIALKOT, Aug 31: The bomb disposal squad of the Sialkot Civil Defence on Saturday defused two anti-tank landmines in a village of Bajwat sector.

Official sources told Dawn that the Indian-made landmines weighed seven kilogrammes each.

Some farmers spotted the landmines in the fields and informed the Chenab Rangers who called the bomb disposal squad from Sialkot. — Correspondent
