CHARSADDA, Aug 24: The District Naib Nazim of Charsadda, Mr Alamzeb Umerzai, on Saturday resigned from his post to take part in the October elections.

Alamzeb Umerzai, a young leader of the PPP (Sherpao), filed his papers from PF-19 Charsadda-3.

Talking to newsmen, Umerzai said his friends, party workers and supporters compelled him to resign from the district government post and contest the provincial assembly elections.
