36-year jail to credit cards scam accused

LAHORE, Nov 24 A special court for banking offences has awarded 36-year imprisonment to an accused involved in a credit cards scam.

Muhammad Khan was arrested by the FIA in January, 2007.

According to the prosecution, the convict caused a huge loss to different banks as well as credit card holders through counterfeit credit cards.

The court also imposed a fine of Rs1.28 million on him.—Staff Reporter
