Coach’s arrival delayed

LAHORE, July 9: The Slovenian coach of  the Pakistan football team Joseph Herel has delayed his return to Pakistan.

He was due to arrive here on July 2, to start the national training camp in preparation for the Asian Games to be held in Busan, South Korea in Sept-Oct.

Herel is now expected to arrive Friday according to an official of the Pakistan Football Federation (PFF).

The new date of the training camp is likely to be decided in couple of days, the official said.

The national junior coach John Laytton has arrived back from England after his annual leave .

The Asian Football Confederation (AFC) has provided both the coaches to Pakistan to improve the standard of the Pakistan senior and junior teams.
