PESHAWAR, April 17 An explosive went off near Balahisar Fort and Frontier College for Women here on Friday night.

A police official said that it was a minor blast, which didn`t cause any loss to human life or damage to property.

He said that security had been put on high alert and efforts were being made to arrest the people involved in the blast.

The explosive was planted at a green belt in the area.
