Two sacked for fake recruitments

SIALKOT, April 8: The district government on Friday dismissed an assistant education officer (AEO) and a union council learning coordinator (LC), Sabz Pir, for their involvement in fake recruitments of primary teachers.

EDO (Education) Dr Saifullah Chattha told reporters that two increments of clerk Muhammad Munawar had also been stopped owing to his involvement in this scam.

Earlier, AEO Muhammad Azam and LC Nasir Ahmad Rahi had been suspended from their service in the same case. However, a high-level inquiry later substantiated the charges against them.

FRAUD CASE: Kotwali police registered a fraud case against an accused for trying to get his second computerized National Identity Card through fake documents.

The case was registered against accused Muhammad Naseer on the report of Nadra.

Meanwhile, Kotwali police instituted another fraud case against accused Syed Zaheer Abbas for getting admission to Government Poly Technical Training College through a fake matric degree.
