KHAIRPUR: Five injured as villagers clash with police

KHAIRPUR, March 25: Five people were injured in a clash between police and villagers near Faiz Ganj here on Thursday night.

The investigation police raided the Mirjat village to arrest two accused, Habibur Rehman and Hakim Ali, which led to the clash.

ASI Zulfiqar Shah, constable Imdad Khaskheli and villagers Baqir Khan, Lal Bux and Anwar Ali were injured in the clash.

Police on Friday registered a case against Anwar Ali, Munawar Ali, Lal Bux, Gul Tunio, Habibur Rehman, Hakim Ali, Azhar, Akhtar Hussain, Baqir Khan and others.
