TEL AVIV, May 24: The Israeli army on Monday arrested a woman in the West Bank who had stayed with a wanted Palestinian militant, military sources said. Tali Fahima, an Israeli citizen, was arrested at a checkpoint near the town of Jenin after a long stay in the area.

The sources said she had spent time with Zakaria al Zubeidi, the Jenin head of Al Aqsa Martyrs Brigades, an armed offshoot of the Fatah movement. Tali Fahima was being questioned, they said, without giving further details. -AFP
