Pakistan, Vietnam chambers sign deal

KARACHI, March 26: The Federation of Pakistan Chambers of Commerce and Industry (FPCCI) and the Vietnam Chamber of Commerce and Industry (VCCI) on Friday signed an agreement of economic and commercial cooperation.

FPCCI president Riaz A Tata and VCCI first vice-president Hoang Van Dung inked the agreement, while Vietnamese President Tran Duc Luong and Industries Minister Liaquat Ali Jatoi and Vietnamese ministers of trade and investment witnessed the signing.

According to the agreement, both the parties would exchange information and review on regular basis on expansion of trade between the two countries. Both the bodies will provide every possible facility and assistance to business trade mission for visiting each other countries.

The two chambers will support and encourage exchange of trade delegation and missions to promote trade between the two countries. The FPCCI and the VCCI will assist each other in their participation in trade fairs, exhibition and expositions held in either of the countries. -APP
