FAISALABAD: Banker, killed in accident

FAISALABAD, Feb 8: Three people, including an officer of the National Savings Centre, were killed and as many injured when their jeep hit a roadside tree near Khurrianwala on Sunday.

Reportedly, NSC officer Abdul Sattar Khalid, along with some of his colleagues and friends, was on way to Lahore by a car. Besides him, Bashir Ahmed and Jawed Ahmed died on the spot while Asghar, Shahbaz and Raja Khan sustained serious injuries. The condition of injured Asghar is stated to be critical.
