Jeay Sindh leader passes away

SHIKARPUR, Feb 1: A founding member of the Jeay Sindh Movement, Nisar Hakro, died here on Saturday. His body, wrapped in the Jeay Sindh flag, was buried at the Jeay Shah graveyard.

Jeay Sindh Qaumi Mahaz chairman Bashir Qureshi has announced a three-day mourning in Sindh on the death of Mr Hakro.

JSM-Z: Jeay Sindh Mahaz (Zain) vice-chairman Qamar Mushwani has said the people of Sindh have been deprived of their rights since 1947. Talking to journalists here on Saturday, he said it was need of the hour to launch a struggle to achieve the rights for which the people of Sindh should be united.

He expressed concern over the attitude of the Mutahidda Qaumi Movement leaders towards the issues of share of water and natural resources of Sindh.

ROBBERY: A group of six highwaymen looted passengers of a wagon (CH-4410) coming from Shikarpur to Garhi Yasin near Korejo Laro on Garhi Yasin road on Saturday.
