PESHAWAR, Nov 17: The owners of various filling stations here on Monday stopped sale of diesel and petrol to consumers creating hardships for the people.

The petrol station operators said the supply had been stopped for Sunday and Monday in the wake of the government announcement of reduction in the prices of the petroleum products.

The Petroleum Dealers Association, Frontier chapter, president Mansoor Sharif, when contacted told Dawn that petrol and diesel was available only at the Pakistan State Oil fuel stations while the rest of the companies were not ready to bear the loss due to reduction in the prices.
