Jamhoori Watan Party chief Nawabzada Talal Bugti said that with one resolute step to implement the impeachment decision Mr Asif Zardari would not only restore the credibility of the PPP leadership but would also rid the nation of an oppressor who was responsible for killings in Balochistan and tribal areas in military operations.
BNP-M’s acting president Sajid Tareen accused President Musharraf of the killing of Nawab Akbar Bugti and Nawabzada Balaach Marri. He also blamed him for the judiciary crisis and hike in prices of food stuff.
Maulana Asmatullah of JUI- Ideological said his group fully support the impeachment of President Musharraf who, according to him, was responsible for the deaths of innocent people at the hands of the United States in Afghanistan.
He also criticised the president for using army in Fata and eliminating local ulema.
Kohzad Hazara of the Hazara Democratic Party said the decision to impeach Musharraf should have been taken much earlier because the people had given their verdict against him in the February polls.
He said that parliament must impeach him for undermining the Constitution and creating the judicial crisis in the country.
