HYDERABAD: SU distance learning

HYDERABAD, July 6: The University of Sindh on Saturday commenced work on its distance learning education under its off-campus programme and BA and MA external degree examinations.

Vice-Chancellor Mazharul Haq Siddiqui said at a meeting on the programme, which was also attended by noted writer and an expert on education technology Amar Jaleel, that the university was working to improve its external programme.

Mr Amar Jaleel said this was the age of electronic media and e-books, rather than classroom education.

He gave several suggestions for improving distance learning.
