Train sabotage plan foiled in Gujranwala

GUJRANWALA, June 10: A plan to derail an express train near Gakhar railway station was foiled on Tuesday, after a farmer reported the sabotage activity to the railway staff.

Farmer Allah Ditta was working in his fields when he saw three men uprooting rail tracks.

He informed the Gakhar railway station master about the activity, who reached the scene along with his staff. In the meantime, the saboteurs fled. However, railway technicians immediately put the tracks in place.
